When luxury, travel, and faraway destinations converge, the result is a bold and exciting challenge—one that calls for a carefully crafted strategic approach. Indigo Horizon Travel was born from a vision of eternal summer and a business idea aimed at delivering an unforgettable journey by sea, stretching from Oman to the Maldives. Onboard a high-end vessel, guests enjoy the full experience: accommodation, all-inclusive meals, curated excursions, and coastal stops throughout a 14-day voyage. Our role was to shape the identity of this unique brand—rooted in the East, yet designed to speak to a Western audience.

Strategic Approach & Market Analysis

The brand development process began with a deep understanding of key market touchpoints—from Oman as the eastern gateway into the Arab world, through the Arabian Sea as a historic trade route, to the Maldives as the ultimate escape and symbol of endless summer. With a Western audience in mind, our goal was to craft a verbal and visual identity that seamlessly blends Western sophistication with Eastern allure. Although the name Indigo Horizon Travel was already set, our task was to bring it to life across all brand elements, weaving a cohesive and emotionally compelling story.

Verbal Identity

The slogan “Your Gateway to Eternal Summer” sets the tone—Oman represents the gateway to the exotic Arabian Sea, while the Maldives embody the idea of eternal summer, luxury, and escape. Supporting messages further define the brand’s voice: Sailing Fairytales evokes a dreamy journey across the so-called “sea of stories,” inviting travelers to experience destinations that feel like they’re pulled from a fairytale. Let Us Seaduce You is a playful blend of “sea” and “seduce,” capturing the brand’s indulgent, sensuous tone and irresistible charm. Hooked on Paradise hints at the addictive beauty and luxury of the experience, with a subtle nod to the sea through the double meaning of “hooked.” Together, these messages embody two powerful archetypes: the Lover, driven by beauty, pleasure, and sensuality, and the Magician, who creates unforgettable, transformative experiences.

Visual Identity

The words Indigo and Horizon became the foundation of a refined and memorable aesthetic. The logo was designed to appear as if it’s emerging from the horizon itself, while the monogram—formed by merging elegant serif initials “IHT”—acts as a distinctive stamp and emblem. Surrounded by diamond-like rays, the mark radiates warmth, light, and the essence of an endless summer. The color palette is led by a deep indigo hue, complemented by soft beige tones and luxurious golden accents. Typography highlights the brand name, balancing sophistication with clarity, and rounding out a visual language evocative of an exclusive summer resort.
